Dear Miss Hotchkiss,

When I saw your advertisement on match.com, I knew that I could make your dreams come true. As you will no doubt notice from my own posting, I am more than qualified: I am handsome, within your age range, and have the steady and substantial income that you require. Thank you for looking over my cover letter and profile. I would love to meet you in person to show you that I am more than prepared to handle your needs, both as a companion and as a lover.

Sincerely,
   John D. Smith Esq.

Dear Miss Hotchkiss,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do business with you. I am very excited about the position you have available, and, as I think our recent time together has shown, I am more than qualified for the job. I think you noticed the way I handled that horrible waiter (his manager will think twice before giving him that shift again!), the way I escorted you all the way back to Brooklyn despite the fact that I live in Manhattan and you gave no indications of putting out, or even wanting me to escort you home, and the extensive histories I gave you of my past experiences of over 20 years pleasing women sexually, not to mention the first-hand experience I gave you with my dinner conversation, which, as is the case with most women, I'm sure you found intoxicating. Indeed, I know how to handle virtually any dating situation! However, I realize that you are the kind of employer who needs more than one interview before she "seals the deal" and I hope that I am in the running for a followup interview. I think you know from our first encounter that I am more than up to the task.

Yours,
   John D. Smith Esq.

Dear Miss Hotchkiss,

It has been some time since my interview with you and I realize perhaps you have already made your decision. I think it would be a shame for you to make such an profound decision without seriously considering what I have to offer, and I would really love to have the occasion to show you, one more time, that I truly am the right one for the job. If you have any doubts at all, I would be happy to meet with you again and demonstrate how my skills and experience can significantly impact your bottom line. You will see that I am a results-oriented, strategic thinker, and that when it comes to your needs, I am the one who is best suited to to fulfill them. Moreover, I am available to start this position as early as tonight.

Eagerly awaiting your reply,
   John D. Smith Esq.
