Animal Attraction at The TriBeCa Grand

My wife doesn't always like to stay up late and party like I sometimes do, so when she went out of town this week I took advantage of the situation and hung out with some friends at the TriBeCa Grand. I never dreamed the night would end up this way though.

Most of the night was spent like any other night in a trendy club: nothing more than dancing or talking with friends about this or that. After a few hours, I separated from my friends for the night and decided not to take a cab home. It was such a beautiful night for a walk, even if I was alone by then. I figured I'd walk a bit and hop the subway.

It was then that I met her. Surprisingly, it wasn't her deep green eyes that first struck me - it was more the fact that she came up to me so boldly on Canal street and Broadway at 3 am. That sort of thing is hard not to pay attention to, especially considering how attractive she was. She wasn't the dark and mysterious type I usually find so alluring, but sometimes type doesn't matter.

Some might say that being so forward in a neighborhood like that is a bad sign, but I guess we were both lonely and after we strolled around the block together we grabbed a cab straight back to my place. It was hard to keep our hands off each other in the cab, but I suppose that goes without saying.

Once we got to my place she had to go straight to the bathroom. It was at this point that I discovered the truth: she was covered in fleas. Shit, she's probably got rabies too. I've got to keep her away from the other cats.

My wife is gonna kill me.

As it turns out, she does not have rabies, the fleas were easily treated and she needs a new home. All of her vaccinations are taken care of.
